We have her!!!

We have little Song Song!!! She is just beautiful and much smaller than we anticipated. Our flight to Anhui was short which was much appreciated. We were met by our guides Cindy and Rose. We had just about 45 minutes to get ready at the hotel and then we were off to meet our girls. At 3:15 we met in the lobby and the ride took about 30 minutes. When we got to the Civil Affairs office, we rode up to the 12 floor. We didn't realize our babies where already there until we got a little closer and could hear them. It was not what we had heard so many times~ where they call up one family at a time and everyone shares pictures and videotaking for each other. As I stood at the door I could see Elizabeth across the room with her Nanny. She is exactly like what her picutres where so there was no mistaken her. With such a small group of only 5 families we basically all went in at one time and met our girls. Elizabeth's nanny gave her to me immediatley (not to Elizabeths pleasure). The nanny told our translator that she is shy and scared of strangers. As we all found our corner of the room, all of the babies calmed down except ours. She didn't really cry but it was an ongoing kind of moan. It was so sad that our happiest day was her sad day. At one point, Little Kristina started to cry and Elizabeth just stopped and we haven't heard a cry out of her since. The ride back to the hotel was a calm one. She sat on Daddy's lap and fell asleep. Once we got back, she and daddy chilled while I did some paperwork and then I stayed with her while Sam and the other men when to the nearby grocery for supplies. I put her to bed at 7pm just like the Nanny said since she was resting her head on my shoulder. She fell asleep quickly and still lies in her crib. We will see how long it last. Sam and I had room service which was a Chinese verison of a cheeseburger. Pumpkin hasn't eaten anything yet. Any semblance of an offer of food she adamently refuses. Mom, As she sat on my lap tonight her little fists were closed and I did your little soft scratch and she just opend her palm right up and relaxed! She is just like her momma! Pray for a good night for us. Tomorrow we are off to officially adopt Elizabeth in the eyes of the Chinese governament. We love her like crazy cakes!!!
