May Has Come and Gone

How does the time pass so quickly! This month has been so busy. The best part of the month was celebrating my first mother's day. We (I) decided it would be a weekend celebration. On Saturday, my friend Leslie and I took the girls to Bluebird Gap Farm. Elizabeth had a great time and I enjoyed the time with Leslie and watching the girls play together. Fin got her to do all sorts of things including feeding goats and enjoying a really high slide! We also took our first hayride. Mother's Day was rainy so my hopes of going to the beach were ended. Instead we spent the day at home just enjoying being a mommy!! Elizabeth had card in her crib already for me. I got a wonderful manicure and pedicure as well as some scrapbooking things. The rest of the month as been filled with lots of firts ~ First trip to the beach, first snow cone, first corn on the cob and first happy times on some inflatables. We tried to take her but we got only screams, so I took the girls down the street with us. We ran into other girls from church. Between the four of them, they taught Elizabeth that inflatables are really, really, really, alot of fun!!!! The month ended with the depature of our friends Jessie and Alicia. The bought their first house in upstate New York. We miss them so much. They were great neighbors, great friends and adored Elizabeth. She still looks at their house and asks for them. I guess at 3 years old, it is hard to understand where people disappear too. I promise to update more now that summer is here and I have a bit more free time. I keep trying to justify to myself tha it is better to live life than write about it. Right???

Enjoy some pictures of the cutiest little girl around!

Love the pictures! I LOVE the one of her by the water with her hands in her pockets too! Of course, your favorite is a GREAT mommy-daughter picture! I can't believe how the time has flown. It's been a great year with our little ones! I'm glad Elizabeth is doing so well.
