Paperchasing Begins

Today we met with Kinga our social worker. She went through all of the paperwork requirements. We complete one set of requirements for our homestudy and then one set of requirements for our dossier. She told us that the paperwork is complicated and depending on how diligent we are is how fast we will complete it. We brought the paperwork home and began to organize it. Now I will say, it is a lot of paperwork but certainly not confusing. If I can organize a polar plunge for a couple of thousand people, surely I can manage this. In our excitement we begin to ponder time lines. We are told that it will take about 6-7 months to get our referral once our Dossier goes to China (DTC). After that we will travel to pick up baby in 6-8 weeks. At this point, we think we will have baby sometime next spring! Yeah!!!
