We got the word, our approval and homestudy are complete!!! Of course no process can be complete with out a few issues. After reading the homestudy, I was really disappointed. It has so many grammer and spelling errors. It seemed almost disrespectful to send this to China and ask them to trust us with a baby when we appear so illiterate. I called Adoptions from the Heart and informed them that after so much time and money that this was not acceptable. Funny how it works, a couple of days later our social worker is now "seeking employment opportunities elsewhere". Melissa is our new social worker and has promised to get everything straight and redone.
Our next step is to send our homestudy to Immigration and wait to be fingerprinted.
